Homemade beef broth is a luxury. I make homemade chicken broth all the time. It’s basically free if I roast a chicken for dinner. At most, a pot costs six bucks – that’s how much a store-cooked rotisserie chicken costs me.
Beef broth is a commitment. Buying enough beef bones with meat on them, just to throw them away when the broth is done, feels expensive.
But, oh, the results are a luxury. Beef broth is amazing. You really should give it a try.
