Love yourself a burger, but also want an omelette? The burger
omelette! They said it couldn’t be done, but here it is, the
combo you’ve been waiting for all your life.

Stranger Burgers: The Burger Omelette!

Get your grill fired up, nice and hot, to cook a bad bad burger.
Place a cast iron pan over indirect heat, and drizzle some olive
oil in it.

Roughly slice an onion up and throw the pieces into the hot oil.
You only want to saute the onion lightly, not overcook it.

Chop up some mushrooms and add them to the other side of the pan
to cook as well. Once everything in the pan has caramelized, pull
off the heat.

Get your ground meat (chuck is great, but you can use any beef
cut you want) and form a nice, tight patty. Don’t add any
seasonings to the mix – only after you’ve formed the patty,
season with salt & pepper.

Throw the patty on the grill, top with a slice of cheese, and
let it cook! Keep an eye on it, flip when necessary, and pull of
the heat when it’s done.

Omelet time! Crack open 3-4 eggs in a bowl, and add whole fat
milk, salt & pepper to taste. Whisk everything together.

Get some oil in your pan (the veggies should be ready & off
the heat by now), place it back on the grill and pour in the
scrambled eggs.

While the egg is cooking, slice one medium-sized tomato and half
an avocado.

The omelette should be coming along nicely, time to add the
other ingredients! Top with more cheese, then add the onion &
mushrooms. Add tomato, avocado slices, and finally the patty
(sliced in half). Keep everything on one side, since the other is
going to fold over it, like a taco.

Fold the omelet over the ingredients, and carefully (!) move it
to your plate.

Can you eat all of that alone? Either way, enjoy!
